May 3

Nothing more to report other than I made more updates to the site. No more tracks to confirm for the comp. The release date on the Friendly Bears/Ahleuchatistas split is looking like it ought to be mid June or so. That one is going to be good. The details of the split are being hammered out. Besides being an awesome album, it's also impetus for us to finish up work on this damn comp and get it out.

We almost have a complete list for this comp thing. We also have a tentative release date. Yeah I know a new one. We don't have anything on Guns n Roses though. What's it been, three years? So keep your pants on. It's coming though. It's looking like its going to be the second/third week of May and will include about 15-17 bands. We may have to drop or push things, but it will be out then somehow. Thanks!

Also, congratulations to anyone graduating next week. Expect more updates and news as soon as that stuff is over--being as how I am one of those people. For those who are interested, there is a new calendar up with tour dates. Check it out.

April 17

A lot of stuff has been going on and the site has not been updated. Well, that's all changing. I am graduating college here in just a couple of weeks. As if that weren't scary enough, the comp is nigh on complete. The tracklisting is not set, but here are the certainities:

The Shape - Brain Busted
MANBAND - Care Bear Stare
Short Fiction - With A Whisper
Dirty Weaponry - Wipe That Goddamn Smile Off Your Face
Ahleuchatistas - Rocket Propelled Grenades pt. 3 (live in Atl)
Piedmont Charisma - Don't Ever Surrender
Recycled Youth - It's Not Me
Loafers Glory - College Fliers
A Perfect World and The Evil People - Cicada
The Bloodiest Night of My Life - Unnacceptable

plus tracks from Capulet, Far-less, Brand New Disaster, White Collar Massacre, Atropos and others.

That's about all the news fit to print. I think. If there is more I will let you know.

Also in the works...
Angura Sound, run by a couple of knock-up folks, is quite possibly teaming up with wee lil' SAID to release a split 7 inch featuring the indomitable Ahleuchatistas and the Friendly Bears from New York City. I don't want to say to much, but I hope it goes well and things work out. I would like to see this continue. Talks are also in the works with doing a series of CD-R ep's with local bands to increase awareness of the wonderful things going on. Many bands are under consideration. The reason for doing CD-R's is so that we can produce many more bands much more cheaply and quickly. They will be mass produced CD-Rs. We would hardly be a record label if we copied discs on our computer and sold them to you. That' ain't kosher. We are talking three dollar, nice lookin' ones with stickers and shit too. So you won't be getting ripped off. That's all for now.
